Each class follows the traditional structure of a beginner ballet lesson, incorporating age-appropriate barre work, center exercises, creative movement, and stretching while dancing to classical ballet music.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition to developing dance skills, students strengthen core muscles, improve flexibility, coordination, body awareness, and gross motor development. Ballet also encourages focus, perseverance, self-discipline, and self-confidence while providing a joyful outlet for artistic expression.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis inclusive class welcomes both typical and neurodiverse learners. Pink ballet slippers are preferred. Optional ballet skirts, fitted shorts, or lightweight dance tops may be worn over the leotard.
